Intended use
•Thedeviceisintendedforprivateuseonly.
•Thisdevicemayonlybeusedforthepurposefor
which it is designed and in the manner specified in
the instructions for use. Any improper use can be
dangerous. The manufacturer is not liable for dama-
ge resulting from improper or careless use.
Electromagnetic interference
•Electromagneticinterferencemayoccur.Strong
magnetic fields (e.g. transformers) must always be
avoided as they may give rise to deviations in trans-
mission.Failuretoobservethesenotesmaygiverise
to faults or to damage to your receiver or chest strap.
Cleaning and maintenance
•Cleanthechest strap occasionally using a damp
cloth. Never immerse the chest strap in water. Dry
the chest strap carefully using a soft cloth.
•Theelastic belt can be washed in the washing ma-
chine at 30°C without fabric conditioner. The elastic
belt is not suitable for use in a tumble drier!
•Cleanthereceiver occasionally using a damp cloth.
Never immerse the receiver in water.
•Store the chest strap in a clean and dry place. Dirt
can impair the elasticity and function of the trans-
mitter. Sweat and moisture may cause the transmit-
ter to remain active due to moist electrodes, which
can reduce the service life of the battery.
•Thesports armband can be cleaned with cold wa-
ter. Allow to air dry. The sports armband is not sui-
table for use in a tumble drier.
Notes on sports armband
The sports armband is usually worn on the upper arm
and is designed for circumferences of 22 to 34 cm.
Ifyourequireanextensionorwouldliketowearthe
sports armband on your wrist, you can order a sui-
table armband (order number 162.095) from the
Customer Services address. This covers wrist cir-
cumferencesof15to22cmandalsoextendstheup-
per arm circumference to 53 cm.
